Job summary

Sobeys Pharmacy in Saint John, New Brunswick, is looking for a licensed pharmacist to join our team. You will provide patient-centered care, lead a collaborative staff, and help ensure product availability across our locations while upholding the highest professional standards.

You will drive pharmacy programs, support product launches, and manage labor costs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the province of responsibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Injection and First Aid certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Kroll software experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy team to exceed customer service standards and promote patient-centered care.
• Execute pharmacy programs and product launches to drive sales and manage labor.
• Coach and develop staff, oversee onboarding, training, and performance management.

• Inspire a positive, patient-focused culture and experience, ensuring product availability, customer service standards, and business plan execution to meet KPIs.
• Actively engage in all areas of Fusion to ensure a seamless and consistent pharmacy experience across locations.
• Be an ambassador for the company values, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and fostering an inclusive environment within the pharmacy.
• Manage the selection, onboarding, training, development, performance management, and succession planning processes.
• Build and maintain strong team relationships in a supportive and motivating work environment, ensuring an appropriate balance of labor and maximizing team members' potential.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements and company policies, processes, and procedures (e.g., OHS, Loss Prevention) are implemented and adhered to within the department; train staff accordingly.

What you bring to the table:
