Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a Pharmacy Manager - Operations at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. You will oversee drug distribution, procurement, inventory and staff competency, ensuring safe, efficient operations within the Pharmacy Department and NSH.

You will lead pharmacy technicians and assistants, manage resources, and work with the Leadership Team to meet strategic priorities while maintaining high quality and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized pharmacy technician program.
• Licensed as a pharmacy technician in Nova Scotia.
• Management training program preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ hospital experience managing human, financial and material resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drug procurement and inventory management.
• Lead competency assessment and training of pharmacy staff and assistants.
• Support operational, fiscal and strategic objectives of the department and NSH.
• Ensure programs align with NSH mission and priorities.
