Job summary

The Royal is seeking a hospital pharmacist to lead and mentor the pharmacy team in an Ottawa-based setting. You will collaborate with staff to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution, uphold standards, and contribute to patient care improvement.

Experience with hospital pharmacy processes and electronic health records is highly valued; bilingualism is an asset, and professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications include BSc in Pharmacy or PharmD from an eligible university.
• OSP hospital residency is an asset; registration in good standing with OCP required.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient, accurate medication distribution.
• Lead or support quality improvement initiatives aligned with standards.
