Job summary

Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay is seeking a Permanent Full-time Environmental Services I to join the Environmental Services team. The role supports infection prevention and safety by maintaining a clean, sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff in a busy hospital setting, including ICU areas.

Eight-hour day shifts are required per CUPE agreement. Qualified candidates will have Grade 12 or equivalent, strong communication and time-management skills, and be able to perform

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and the public.
• Must be able to complete training in required competencies (CPI, WHMIS).
• Must be physically fit for heavy lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Must meet the physical demands of the job.
• Flexible to cover eight-hour day shifts, including weekends.
