Collingwood General & Marine Hospital invites applications for a Dietary Aide on a temporary part-time basis (approximately 5 months) within the Food Services team. You will interact with patients, participate in meal service, food preparation, and inventory support.

The role requires TrainCan Food Safety Training and Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent; preferred experience in a hospital setting and knowledge of therapeutic diets.

Qualifications

• TrainCan Food Safety Training and Certification
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent

Responsabilités

• Assemble patient meal trays following therapeutic diets.
• Deliver meal trays to patients at the bedside and respond to requests.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and keep utensils clean.
• Prepare, deliver, and serve catering orders, including outside cafeteria hours.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment with food safety practices.
