Job summary

The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Windsor and Erie Shores Residence on full-time night shifts. You will join a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality end‑of‑life care in a compassionate setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care-plan development, symptom management, and staff mentoring, aligned with Ontario RN standards. Flexible scheduling and a strong commitment to patient dignity are required.

Qualifications

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays in rotation.
• CPR certification and annual maintenance; education in palliative care is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using CHPCA 8 domains of care.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans focusing on comfort and dignity.
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration and wound care.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers and other health professionals.
