Job summary

Kinghaven Farms Limited in King City, ON is seeking a Honey Production Associate to join our production team. This full-time, hands-on role involves preparing and packaging honey-based food and body care products, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting quality and safety standards.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with weekend shifts; starting wage is $18.50 CAD per hour. Benefits include comprehensive family health, dental and vision after 91 days of continuous employment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable attendance and prompt notice of shift conflicts.

• Able to work independently and in a small team.
• Previous food handling or production experience is an asset; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package honey-based products using manual and power-operated equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with production flow to keep on track.
• Keep the production area clean and organized, including basic cleaning and maintenance of production machines.
• Bring equipment issues or safety concerns to the Production Lead promptly.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned in support of day-to-day operations.

Kinghaven Farms is a family-owned and operated farm in King Township, Ontario, established in 1967. Our mission has grown over the years to include sustainable agriculture, apiculture, and small-batch honey and body care products, all produced on-site using renewable electricity from our own barn rooftops. Our production team is small, and every person on it plays an important role.

About the Role

We are looking for a Honey Production Associate to join our production team in King City. Reporting to the Production Lead and working alongside our current associate, you will help prepare and package our honey-based food and body care products, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and support the quality and safety standards our customers expect.

This is a hands-on, physically active role. Dependability is essential: consistent attendance, close adherence to instructions, and careful attention to detail are the qualities we value most in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package our honey-based food and body care products, using both manual and power-operated equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and flag or adjust as needed to keep production on track
• Keep the production area clean and organized, including basic cleaning and maintenance of production machines
• Bring any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Production Lead promptly
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned in support of day-to-day operations

• Able to bend, reach, and stoop as needed throughout the shift
