Job summary

Government of Yukon is seeking a Home Support Worker to deliver client-centered home care services within the Yukon Home Care Program. This term position runs until March 5, 2028, with a 12-month eligibility list to cover anticipated permanent, term, and AOC roles.

The role involves assisting clients to maintain independence, performing daily living activities, and contributing to quality of life in a community setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in Home Care or community-based setting.
  • Experience providing personal care, home management, and respite care in a community setting.
  • Candidates with Home Support Worker or Nursing Home Attendant certificates are assets.

This posting will be used to fill a term position ending on March 5, 2028. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill anticipatory permanent, term & AOC positions.

Your role

Under the direction of the Home Support Supervisors, this position provides home support services to individual clients of Yukon Home Care Program to promote optimum level of functioning in the skills/activities of daily living and quality of life of clients.

Important Application And Job Requirements
