Summary:

As a Home Support Worker, you will be essential in providing compassionate care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes. Your core skills in caregiving, along with your experience in dementia care and case management, will enable you to support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation and medication administration. You will work closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate caregiving and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
• Medication reminders and monitor health conditions as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Support individuals with disabilities and those suffering from dementia, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in caregiving and home support services
• Familiarity with senior care and working with individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of dementia care

Staff can make a real difference in their local community caring for individuals making sure they get the right type and amount of care. We customize the care each client receives and update their care plans as needs change. Having consistent caregivers working weekly with their specific clients is how we ensure there is rapport and that consistent care is in place.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
