Job summary

Interior Health Authority in Lillooet, BC is seeking an experienced Community Health Worker to join Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre. You will work with a team of nurses and LPNs to support Community Clients’ independence and home-based care.

The role covers personal care, daily living support, meal prep and home safety, contributing to the home health care plan for each client. Permanent part-time with day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering home-based support to clients.
• Ability to promote independence and safe living at home.
• Flexible and reliable with patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Household duties to maintain a safe home environment.
• Meal preparation according to care plans.
• Assistance with mobility and transfers; observe and report changes in client condition.
• Perform delegated tasks as trained.
