Interior Health is seeking Food Service Workers to join our Support Services team at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre. If you are a reliable, flexible and motivated individual, you will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities include portioning and serving meals, preparing beverages, setting up meal carts, and maintaining clean food service areas. This casual role offers rotating evenings from 15:00 to 19:00 and opportunity to contribute to patient and community

• Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation.
• Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area.
• Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit.
• Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels program.
• Setting up and delivering meal carts.
• Cleaning of food service areas.

About The Job

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be rotating evenings, 15:00 to 19:00.
