Interior Health is seeking an experienced Community Health Worker to support patients at Ashcroft Hospital and Health Centre in Ashcroft, BC. You will work with a team of nurses and LPNs to help clients stay independent and at home through home support services.

Typical duties include personal care, meal prep, housekeeping in a safe home environment, and assistive mobility. This is a relief part-time role rotating days and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Completion of a recognized Resident Care Aide/Home Support Worker program.
• Registration with BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry is required.
• Valid BC Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Deliver home-based personal care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with daily living activities and health-related tasks.
• Provide meal preparation and household support.
• Support client mobility and transfers as needed.
• Observe changes in client health and report to supervisor.
• Follow training and procedures for delegated tasks.
