Bass Pro Shops in Calgary, AB is seeking a Seasonal Retail Outfitter to deliver legendary service while sharing outdoor knowledge with customers. You will help shoppers identify needs and make informed product recommendations, promoting store programs and keeping the floor inviting.

This role emphasizes teamwork, a passion for the outdoors, and flexibility to assist in other areas as needed during busy periods.

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers' needs and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
