Job summary

Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority in Manitoba seeks a part-time Home Care Scheduling Clerk to coordinate scheduling for Home Care clients and staff under the supervision of the Clinical Team Manager.

The incumbent will collaborate with Home Care Resource Coordinators and Case Coordinators, ensuring accurate scheduling data entry, prioritization, and timely communication within the health care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 education required.
• Preference will be given to Procura trained applicants.
• Minimum 1 year scheduling staff experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cultural diversity as it relates to clients and staff.
• Recent Home Care experience preferred.
• Intermediate keyboarding and computer skills.
• General understanding of office practices and procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships.
• Ability to apply critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
