Stay at Home Nursing is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for home care in Burlington, serving Burlington and Hamilton, ON. Responsibilities include one-to-one care in clients' homes to support health, comfort, and independence.

Qualifications

• PSW certification or approved equivalent.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel between client homes in your region.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal care instructions.
• Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement with lifts.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to care team.
• Document care activities accurately.
• Support clients with light household tasks related to care.
• Accompany clients during outings or appointments when required.
