Job summary

Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority in Ashern is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse – Home Care to join the Home Care team. You will administer functions assigned by the Home Care Case Coordinator and work with the multidisciplinary team to promote holistic health services for residents.

The role requires current Manitoba LPN registration, BLS, IV Therapy, Wound Care Level 1&2, and at least one year of home care experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with registration in Manitoba
• IV Therapy course has been completed
• Current BLS certification is required
• Wound Care Level 1 & 2 certification attained
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably Home Care
• Valid Manitoba driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to work independently and in isolated settings
• Commitment to privacy and confidentiality with professional standards

Responsibilities

• Administers duties as assigned by the Home Care Case Coordinator
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic home care
• Uses professional judgment in day-to-day clinical decisions
• Supports the mission, vision and values of Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority
