Job summary

DDRC seeks compassionate individuals to join our Integrated Living Services program in Calgary. As an Integrated Living Practitioner, you will support adults with developmental disabilities by promoting health, independence and daily living skills in a safe home environment.

You will assist with personal care, meals, medication administration and daily house management while documenting progress and collaborating with the support team. Must reside in or near Calgary and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates emotional regulation and patience in challenging situations.
• Has disability studies education or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote well‑being, uniqueness and independence of clients.
• Encourage clients to develop individual skills, talents and abilities.
• Provide physical care, meal planning/preparation and medication administration.
• Manage day‑to‑day household tasks and documentation.
• Promote safety, structure and respectful, person‑centred support.
