Job summary

CIeNET Canada is seeking an experienced HIL Simulation and Integration Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Oshawa, onsite.

You will build high‑fidelity vehicle models and sensor suites, support hands‑free driving algorithms, and collaborate across teams to integrate these systems into a wider CI/CD toolchain.

This role requires strong C++ and Python skills, agility in an Agile environment, and excellent communication to deliver on milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or relevant field.
• 2+ years of C++ development experience.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and CarSIM/dSpace.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity vehicle models and sensor suites for HIL simulations.
• Integrate systems into a wider CI/CD toolchain.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Define and analyze user stories in an Agile environment.
• Test hardware and run simulations to validate safety features.
