Job summary

Volker Stevin is seeking a Highway Maintenance Worker/Operator in Vulcan, AB. Reporting to the Foreman, you will contribute to keeping highways safe and functional while performing routine maintenance and operating heavy equipment.

This role requires a Class 3 or 1 license with air brake endorsement and the ability to work on-call, including night shifts. You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and professional growth, with access to extensive training and benefits as part of Volker

Qualifications

• On-call ability and willingness to work night shifts when required.
• Experience operating and performing minor maintenance on light, medium and heavy equipment is an asset.
• 50+ hours of snowplow operation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with air brake endorsement and clean abstract showing no major infractions.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in maintaining highways and ensuring the functionality and safety of roadways.
• Maintain, service and inspect company equipment, vehicles and facilities.
• Follow safety, QA/QC, and environmental standards in highway maintenance.
