Hatch Ltd. invites a Winter 2027 Co-op Student to join the Highway Design team in Mississauga. This role offers hands-on drafting experience on highway planning and design projects for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario and municipalities across Ontario.
You will assist project managers, contribute to preliminary and detailed design, and help prepare design documents and reports while developing CAD skills and learning industry best practices in a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment.

Hatch Highways and Bridges group is currently seeking a talentedCo-Op Studentwith interests inHighway CAD Design for the Winter 2027 semester. In this role, you will be based in our Mississaugaoffice and have the opportunity to work on high profile projects including a variety of highway planning and design assignments being undertaken on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) or for municipalities throughout the Province of Ontario. You’ll also be actively participating and learning drafting work for civil engineering projects that may include roadway geometric design, intersections/ interchanges, roadside safety analysis, design of pavement marking and signage, traffic staging design, and quantity calculations.

Range: $24.00 - $27.00
