Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist with installation and maintenance of substation equipment across British Columbia. You will gain hands‑on experience in grounding grids, structural steel, and power system components while supporting high‑voltage transformers and related systems.

Key responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and documentation, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Apprentice with preference for Industrial Electrician stream.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety regulations.
• Ability to work at heights and travel for out-of-town projects.
• Comfort with using test equipment and Windows-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing and maintaining substation equipment.
• Support grounding grid installation and structural steel erection.
• Help install and troubleshoot high‑voltage transformers and related equipment.
• Document circuits, tests, and maintain maintenance reports.
