FirstHealth is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented high school student to assist with registration and administrative tasks. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in organization, communication, and teamwork while contributing to the smooth operation of our registration processes.The Registration Coordinator is responsible for registration of patients, verification of insurance benefits, pre certifications and verification of demographic information.
Manage patient registration processes accurately and efficiently.
Verify insurance benefits and ensure pre-certifications are completed as required.
Update and confirm accurate demographic information for all patients.
Collect and process payments, ensuring proper posting to patient accounts.
Assist patients with financial assistance applications when needed.
Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements throughout the registration process.
This position isdeemed*essential *. Essential staff are expected to report to work during inclement weather.
Bilingual skills preferred. Must be currently enrolled in High School. Able to work weekends, holidays and shift rotations as needed.
