Posting: 1.0 FTE High School Math Teacher

Location: Father Patrick Mercredi Catholic High School Start Date: August 25 th

The Fort McMurray Roman Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE High School Math Teacher at Father Patrick Mercredi Catholic High School starting August 25th, 2025.

Duties of teachers may include but not limited to, the following:

• identify students' individual and collective learning needs
• plan and deliver instruction based on student learning needs and special needs
• provide a stimulating learning environment in which each student can experience growth and develop to his or her potential
• help students learn appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• meet with parents
• evaluate and communicate student progress
• prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
• meet with other professionals to discuss individual student needs and progress
• volunteer to supervise extracurricular and after-school activities
• attend meetings, seminars and in-service training sessions.

• Must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification and hold a Bachelor of Education Degree; ideally with a focus/major in mathematics.
