About the Role:
We’re looking for a seasoned High-Rise Site Superintendent to lead the delivery of an upcoming high-rise residential project. This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in managing large-scale developments and a track record of driving safety, quality, and performance on site.
Key Responsibilities:
As the on-site lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring alignment with project goals in terms of safety, schedule, quality, and budget. Your scope will include, but not be limited to:
Managing and directing all on-site construction operations.
Enforcing company policies and ensuring work adheres to approved plans, timelines, and budgets.
Driving productivity and evaluating performance of trades and staff to maintain efficiency and cost control.
Leading site meetings with consultants and trades.
Monitoring construction to ensure it meets design specs and quality standards.
Overseeing scheduling, budget control, commissioning, and occupancy phases.
Championing health and safety protocols, integrating them into all site activities and maintaining full compliance.
Developing and updating three-week lookahead schedules with resource allocation.
Interpreting contract requirements, identifying risks and opportunities, and taking steps to keep the project on track financially.
What We're Looking For:
Title: Currently working as a High-Rise Site Superintendent
Experience: At least two full high-rise projects completed as the primary Site Super, with hands-on involvement in all key phases: shoring, formwork, building envelope, M&E, interior finishing, and final occupancy
Background: Prior experience with a developer is a strong asset
Skills:
Deep understanding of site safety, scheduling, and quality assurance
Strong organizational and planning capabilities
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Tech: Comfortable using iPads, Procore, and open to new site management tools
Compensation:
$160,000–$180,000 base salary plus benefits and additional package.
