Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking Class 3 Operators to operate and drive assigned units at the CNRL Horizon site. Join a safety-conscious team with a 14/14 rotation and 12-hour days. Camp may be provided for qualified candidates and a strong benefits package awaits after eligibility.

Wages start at 41.44 CAD/hour. Experience with Hydrovac and vac trucks is a plus; valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certificates are required or arranged.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience.
• Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units would be an asset.
• Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.
• Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (proof required before first day). Training can be arranged.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
• Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drives, operates and stages units.
• Performs pre and post trip inspections.
• Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.
• Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.
• Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day.
• Performs roadside repairs as required.

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 3 Operators to join their safety conscious team at CNRL Horizon! You will be responsible for operating and driving the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.

This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position, wages starting at $41.44/hour
