Job summary

Balloo Hire Centres is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Belfast operations. You will deliver and collect hire equipment to sites across Northern Ireland, while performing daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.

We value safety, strong communication, and a team-based approach. Applicants must be 25+ for insurance and hold a Class 1 licence with up-to-date CPC and Tachograph cards.

Qualifications

• Class 1 clean licence required.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Driver Digi Tachograph card.
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Good knowledge of NI geography.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting hire equipment across NI.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Keeping vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Be health and safety conscious in a fast-paced environment.

Contract: Permanent * Full time

Location: Belfast

Hours: 45 (Monday - Friday, including Saturday AM every other week)

In The Role You Will Be

• Delivering and collecting a range of hire equipment from building sites, businesses, events, industry, and homes across Northern Ireland.
• Carrying out daily checks on your vehicle.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
• Be health and safety conscious in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• All applicants must be age 25 or over for insurance purposes.

What Will Help You To Excel In This Role

• Class 1 clean licence as a minimum
• Up to date Driver CPC and Driver Digi Tachograph card
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Good geographical knowledge of NI
