Job summary

HighView Partners seeks a hands-on Commercial Building Operator for a landmark multi-building heritage complex in Liberty Village, Toronto. You will perform rounds, respond to tenant service calls, and troubleshoot HVAC and mechanical systems while supporting preventive maintenance and contractor coordination.

You should bring 3+ years in commercial building operations, be a self-starter, and comfortable moving between technical tasks and practical maintenance, with the ability to contribute

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on commercial building operations or related building systems experience.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a smaller entrepreneurial setting.
• Comfortable interacting with tenants and contractors and adapting to evolving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Regular building rounds to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Respond to tenant service calls and troubleshoot HVAC/mechanical issues.
• Support preventative maintenance and coordinate with contractors/trades.
• Assist with grounds, irrigation, and exterior property maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with property management to manage repairs and tenant moves.
