Job summary

GSK is seeking a Therapeutic Specialist, Hepatology, to drive engagement with healthcare professionals across GTA West and Southwestern Ontario. The role collaborates with Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education Managers, and Marketing to implement hepatology strategies and optimize patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates possess a life sciences or related degree with 3+ years in Hepatology/GI or successful product launches, and demonstrate autonomous, strategic thinking with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Hepatology/GI or proven success launching products in competitive markets.
• Strong working knowledge of scientific research study interpretation and data analysis.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategic business plans tailored to your territory, setting and achieving both short- and long-term goals.
• Building strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and clinic decision-makers, and allied healthcare stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes.
• Designing and driving unique, customer-focused initiatives to build GSK advocacy, accelerate launch uptake and future portfolio growth.
• Engaging in meaningful scientific discussions with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of Hepatology medicines.
• Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to develop and execute programs that improve patient care and align with brand strategies.
• Preparing and managing territory budgets with accountability for resource allocation.
• Conducting impactful daily customer calls to drive measurable contributions to patient access and market growth.
