The Division of Hematology at the University of British Columbia seeks a Junior Research Coordinator for the Hematology Research Program. The role supports study start-up to close, liaises with healthcare staff, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

You will collaborate with researchers, physicians, and nurses, coordinate with sponsors and REB, and contribute to data integrity while maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence.

Formación

• Completion of a university degree in a relevant discipline and at least four years of related experience.
• Experience with clinical trials regulatory standards preferred.
• Knowledge of ethics board processes and consent requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multiple clinical studies from startup to closure under supervision of PIs and management.
• Ensure all study activities comply with ICH, GCP, Tri-Council guidelines and SOPs.
• Assist with protocol development, grant applications and regulatory submissions; assess feasibility and budget implications.
• Develop study workflows and identify strategies to maximize enrollment and efficiency.
• Obtain ethics approvals for investigator-initiated and grant-funded trials; manage regulatory documents.
