Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited is seeking Blasters’ Helpers to join their team at the Eskay Creek Mine site in British Columbia. This role supports blasting operations in an open-pit setting, with 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule and camp accommodations provided.

You will work in a remote, rugged environment, must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, and be eligible to work in Canada. Transportation is provided from local communities and major western Canadian centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in an open-pit mining environment is required.
• Knowledge of blasting standards, regulations and explosives products is essential.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support blasting operations in an open-pit mining setting.

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited is seeking Blasters’ Helpers to join their team at the Eskay Creek Mine site in British Columbia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative mining environment, supporting safe and efficient blasting operations in an open-pit setting. Ideal candidates will have experience in mining, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work in remote, rugged conditions on a rotational schedule.

What You’ll Need

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record suitable for site vehicle use
• 3 years’ experience in an open-pit mining environment
• Knowledge of blasting standards, regulations, and explosives products
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotations (days/nights), weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Physically able to work in extreme weather and rugged terrain, including lifting/moving heavy objects
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
