Job summary

Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is seeking Shop Labourers to support the heavy equipment maintenance team at the Alex & Alice Boucher Fort McKay Industrial Park in Fort McMurray, AB. You will assist technicians, help maintain shop organization, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.

Ideal candidates are energetic, safety-focused, and eager to learn, with the ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate or learn forklift/loader equipment, and work across shop conditions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to perform physical labour, lifting 50+ lbs, and work in shop conditions.
• Valid Class 5 License and satisfactory 3-year drivers abstract.
• Energetic, social, outgoing personality with initiative.
• Experience in heavy equipment, mining, construction and/or industrial shops.
• Forklift, loader, telehandler, and/or aerial lift experience.
• WHMIS, First Aid, or other safety certifications.
• Completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing.
• May require client training and competency assessment.
• Eligibility to work on all sites.
