Job summary

City of Estevan is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator for the Roads and Drainage Division. This permanent full-time role operates and maintains heavy trucks and related equipment, performs pre-trip inspections, and keeps logs of work performed, reports conditions, and supports other duties as assigned.

Candidates must have a valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement, a Fireman’s Boiler Operator License, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles up to 13 speed.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains heavy trucks and equipment listed (Tandem, Three-Ton, Skid Steer, Ladder Truck).
• Maintains equipment, tools and vehicles; logs pre-trip inspections.
• Performs labour and other tasks as required.

• Performs labour and other tasks as required

Salary

This position has a starting salary of $ 31.18 per hour in accordance with the 2026 CUPE rates.
