Job summary

Blackline Civil Inc. is seeking a qualified Class 1 Driver to operate tandem trucks on civil construction projects across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

This role supports earthworks, utilities, and site development, working closely with crews to keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate has a valid Class 1 license, a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience in civil or construction settings, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (civil or construction preferred).
• Clean 3-year commercial driver’s abstract.
• Experience with manual transmissions (18-speed).
• Ability to work long hours and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tandem trucks on job sites and haul routes.
• Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and aggregates.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Work alongside crews, operators, and supervisors.
• Maintain clean and safe equipment.

This role supports earthworks, underground utilities, and site development projects, working closely with crews to keep operations running efficiently.
