Job summary

Helical Pile Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver. The role requires a Class 1 license, a clean abstract, and 5+ years in heavy haul or winch/low-bed operations.

You will work long shifts away from home, maintain safety standards, and communicate effectively with teammates and mechanics. Employees receive competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for overtime and long- distance assignments in rugged terrains.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 driver's license.
• Clean driver's abstract - Minimum 5 years.
• Minimum 5 years Experience.
• Drive safely and in compliance with all company regulations.
• Familiarity with E-logs (pre-trip, post-trip).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow safe working procedures.
• Must have low bed truck experience.
• Must have winch truck experience.
• Must have heavy haul experience.
• Must be able to load and unload equipment with little or no supervision on site.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
• Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Experience with mountainous terrain and rough ROW access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure a high level of safety.
• Ensure a daily JHA, attend all safety meetings and daily tailboard meetings.
• Perform equipment walk-around inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems, field repair minor fixes and communicate major issues with mechanics.
• Maintain a clean drivers abstract.
• Working for upwards of 21 days away from home.
• Work overtime daily.
• Adaptable to changing shifts and conditions.
