Job summary

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in Calgary is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to service a diverse fleet of small engine equipment, medium-duty trucks, and trailers. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain detailed service records to ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, independent work, and a valid driver’s license; on-call duties are seasonal for winter snow operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing small engines and fleet equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage repair priorities.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engine equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and similar machinery.
• Seasonal On-Call duties applicable for Winter Snow Season, not applicable in Summer Season.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium-duty trucks and trailers.
• Conduct routine servicing such as oil changes, filters, belts, brakes, and fluid inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect equipment to ensure operational safety and reliability.
• Maintain service records and report maintenance needs.
• Identify and source parts required for repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Commercial Maintenance Full Time Rockyview, AB $35 - $43 CAD per hour

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services is a growing and well-established service organization in Calgary seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to support year-round maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of small engine equipment, medium-duty trucks, and trailers.
