Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, is seeking a results-driven Service Manager to lead our dealership’s service team. You will plan, schedule, and oversee operations to meet quotes, warranties, and uptime targets.

The role requires 5-7 years in service/management in heavy equipment, strong leadership, customer focus, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in service, management, and business (5-7 years).
• Ability to lead teams effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer worksites and work around heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with standard desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage service workflow to ensure work is planned, scheduled, and completed on time and within quoted costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams to support service delivery.
• Ensure quality service execution in shop, field, and resident locations in line with standards.
• Prepare quotes, oversee work orders, and ensure timely job closure and billing.
• Collaborate with parts and sales to ensure parts availability and minimize downtime.
• Lead service personnel in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
• Develop and manage the annual service department budget.
• Monitor monthly performance metrics including revenue, margins, expenses, KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and retain qualified service employees in collaboration with Branch Management and HR.
