Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Parts & Service Advisor for the Laval Construction and Forestry location. The role combines sales activities with administrative support to the branch, driving customer growth and service excellence.

You will prospect new accounts, nurture relationships, manage a daily call and visit cadence, and support the Parts and Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience within the industry.
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within territory and work flexible hours.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cold call new accounts to promote products and incentives.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with prospective customers, targeting new prospects monthly.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers to resolve issues and enhance loyalty.
  • Make daily customer visits to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Execute an annual territory plan and maintain a target list.
  • Collaborate with management on marketing strategies to grow the customer base.
  • Complete daily call reports with detailed information for sales tracking.
  • Maintain customer records of meetings, opportunities, quotes and notes.
  • Use call logging tools as directed.
  • Manage company vehicle inventory and keep price lists up to date.
  • Assist parts counters with quotes, orders, deliveries and inventory control.
  • Provide pricing and product information to the Parts Manager to stay competitive.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and communicate resolutions to leadership.
  • Participate in required training and vehicle maintenance.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Heavy Equipment Parts & Service Advisor (CSA) for our Laval Construction and Forestry location.

This position is responsible for various administrative duties, and providing support to the branch/office as required.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Prospect and cold call new accounts to promote products and incentives, increasing the customer base.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with prospective customers, targeting a minimum of two new prospects monthly.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing communication with existing customers to resolve issues promptly and enhance loyalty through personalized service and product updates.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities and increase parts and service revenue.
  • Implement and execute an annual territory plan, including maintaining an up-to-date customer target list.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and apply marketing strategies that expand the customer base.
  • Complete daily call reports with accurate, detailed information to track customer interactions and sales progress effectively.
  • Maintain and utilize customer records, documenting meetings, opportunities, quotes and relevant notes to ensure seamless sales continuity.
  • Utilize call logging tools as directed.
  • Maintain control of company vehicle inventory, ensuring price lists and product information are current and accessible.
  • Assist parts counter personnel with quotes, orders, deliveries, returns and inventory control to support seamless operations.
  • Provide competitive product and pricing information to the Parts Manager to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Follow up on all customer complaints, communicating resolutions to the Branch Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, and Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in all required training.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform scheduled maintenance of the Company vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned.
