Job summary

Amrize in Saskatoon is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to maintain operations of the pit on a day-to-day basis and support the crushing/pit crew. You will inspect, operate wheel loader, excavator, dozer and 40-ton trucks, and assist with servicing tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years mining/aggregates experience, and a 1A license is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent required. Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years mining/aggregates experience preferred.
• Five years proven experience in heavy equipment operation.
• 1A license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations of the pit on a day-to-day basis.
• Inspect, operate wheel loader, excavator, dozer and 40-ton articulated haul trucks.
• Assist with labour and servicing activities as part of the crushing/pit crew.
• Prioritize safety and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
