Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Canada is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate front-end wheel loaders and related equipment to support aggregate production.

You will maintain material flow, stockpiles, perform inspections and support safe, reliable operations across plant, pit and yard. The role requires a high school diploma, 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, a valid Class 5 license, and certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience operating front‑end wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; heavy equipment operating certification and First Aid are assets.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front‑end wheel loaders and related equipment to support aggregate production and material movement.
• Maintain consistent material flow to processing equipment to meet production targets.
• Build and manage stockpiles for efficient site organization.
• Monitor material quality and ensure products meet specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize reliability.
• Document operational, production, and equipment records accurately.
• Collaborate with plant and operations teams to achieve goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to operational excellence.
• Provide cross-site operational support across plant, pit, and yard.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental policies and promote a safety culture.
