GFL - Sewer Technologies Division in Canada seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator capable of safely operating excavators, front loaders, bulldozers, or equivalent heavy equipment to bale, load, and move waste material in a landfill setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience operating excavators, front end loaders, dozers, and water trucks.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale/load waste and materials into trailers.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Grease and check fluids; ensure equipment is clean and safe.
• Steer and operate listed machinery at assigned sites.
• Substitute for others as needed.
• Maintain site grounds and facility appearance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
