Job summary

The City of Martensville has an immediate permanent full-time Equipment Operator III opening. The role supports the Public Works Department with general maintenance and operation of city equipment for streets, roadways, storm and drainage works, alleys and sidewalks, and facilities.

Physical labour is required and work is outdoors in various weather. Candidates must have Grade 12 or GED, a valid class 3A driver’s license, and be willing to pass a criminal record check.

Equipment Operator III

The City of Martensville has an immediate opening for a Permanent Full-Time Equipment Operator III. If no qualified or suitable applicant is found at Level III, applicants at Level II will be considered.

This position will assist the Public Works Department with general maintenance and operations of City equipment in the maintenance and beautification of City facilities and property including streets, roadways, storm and drainage works, alleys and sidewalks.

Physical Labour is required as well as being able to work outdoors under various weather conditions.

Experience with Grader with Snow Gate, Wheel Loader with blower, and backhoe are required. Related experience will also be considered.

Applicants must have their Grade 12 or GED. All applicants must have a valid class 3A driver's license and are subject to a criminal record check.

Rate of Pay: As per the Local CUPE Agreement.
