Construction & Equipment Divisional Services in Juniper, NB, is seeking Heavy Equipment Operator Apprentices for a large windfarm project. This camp-based role offers 14 days on/7 off, 12-hour shifts, and on-site accommodations.

No prior heavy equipment experience is required; training is provided. You will operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and more, while focusing on safety and teamwork and attending apprenticeship training.

Qualifications

  • No prior heavy equipment operating experience required, training is provided.
  • Previous construction, labor, or equipment experience is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Valid equipment operator certification(s) considered an asset.
  • Ability to work long shifts in a remote, camp-based environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Recently graduated a heavy equipment operating course is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Interested in learning safe construction practices & operating heavy equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, articulated trucks, and other equipment as required
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Follow project plans, specifications, and grade requirements
  • Work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
  • Adhere to all site safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
  • Be willing to attend apprenticeship training & certification requirements

Job Description

We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Operator Apprentices to join a large-scale windfarm construction project. This is a rotational, camp-based opportunity offering competitive wages, steady hours, and a strong commitment to safety.

Position Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Operator with Maritime Civil & Energy Limited, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of construction equipment on a large scale windfarm project. You will support earthworks, road building, and infrastructure construction activities while working closely with supervisors and site crews.

Work Schedule

  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotation
  • 12-hour shifts (day and night rotations may apply)
  • Camp-based position with accommodations and meals provided

(The hourly rate range for this role will be ($47.66- $48.59 per hour)
