This is a prime opportunity for Labourer Apprentices to build knowledge and grow within Construction. As a Labourer Apprentice you will support earthworks, road construction, and site operations on a remote project.

Qualifications

  • No prior construction experience required; training provided.
  • Experience in construction, heavy civil, or industrial labour is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Ability to work long shifts in a remote, camp-based environment.
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Participation in training and on-the-job learning to develop trade skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with civil construction tasks including grading support, material handling, and site preparation.
  • Perform manual labour duties such as shoveling, raking, staking, and basic hand tool use.
  • Support equipment operators by spotting, directing trucks, and maintaining safe working distances.
  • Set up and dismantle work zones, signage, and barriers.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety policies, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards.
  • Work with supervisors, operators, and crew members.

We are seeking Labourer Apprentices to join our team for a large-scale windfarm construction project. This is a rotational, camp-based opportunity offering competitive wages, steady hours, and a strong commitment to safety. This is a prime opportunity if you are a Labourer Apprentice wanting to build your knowledge and begin to grow within the Construction industry.

Position Overview

As a Labourer Apprentice with Maritime Civil & Energy Limited , you will carry out various tasks to support earthworks, road construction, and general site operations. This role requires physical stamina, awareness of safety practices, and the ability to work as part of a high-performing crew on a remote project.

Work Schedule
  • 14 days on / 7 days off rotation
  • 12-hour shifts (day and night rotations may apply)
  • Camp-based position with accommodations and meals provided

(The Hourly rate for this role will be $36.74 per hour.)
