Job summary

Impala Canada is seeking a skilled haulage and water truck operator for the Lac des Iles Mine. The role involves operating heavy vehicles, maintaining water lines and dewatering systems, and upholding strict safety standards in a demanding mining environment.

You will work on a 14x14 rotation (Crew 3 & 4) with competitive hourly wages, health insurance, and a travel allowance. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English and perform physical labor.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe work practices in a mining setting.
• MTCU haulage truck module is required.
• DZ license is considered an asset.

Job Description:

• Operation of a production haul truck and water truck
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all water lines (including pit dewatering) and access roads
• Perform duties in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Follow company policies and legislative standards
• Ability to effectively communicate any hazards or concerns to supervisor; 14x14 rotation; Crew 3 &4

Qualifications:

• Surface miner common core
• Must have MTCU module for haulage truck
• Experience with power tools, chainsaws, water pumps and gen-sets is considered an asset
• Proficiency in the operation of various heavy equipment in a mine operations environment is considered an asset
• Verbal and written proficiency of the English language
• Able to perform manual labor
• DZ License is considered an asset; Class G at a minimum
