Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals, part of the Toromont Industries family, is hiring a Mechanic Shop Unlicensed in Corner Brook, NFLD. This full-time, permanent role pays $25.00 hourly and involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of construction equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

You’ll work with a team to perform repairs, manage parts, document service reports, and support branch operations while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Heavy Duty Mechanic with strong diagnostic and failure analysis skills.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance of construction equipment incl. Genie, Skyjack, CAT.
• CAT ET/SIS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and estimate repair costs.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and identify faults.
• Repair or replace defective parts following manufacturer standards.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance.
