Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice Level 4 in Corner Brook, NL. This full-time, permanent role offers hands-on experience alongside licensed technicians, focusing on heavy duty equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.

You will develop practical skills on CAT, Genie, Skyjack equipment, and collaborate to improve service quality while adhering to safety policies and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or having completed, a post-secondary Heavy Equipment Mechanic program with a genuine interest in learning and developing new skills.
• Experience with maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians with daily repairs of equipment.
• Identify issues within hydraulic systems and apply basic diagnostic skills.
• Inspect and test basic powertrain components and systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation of repairs and services.
• Prepare job action plans for repairs and safety compliance.
• Perform general maintenance and inspections of equipment.
