Job summary

Kiewit is hiring experienced Journeyman or Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanics for the Woodfibre LNG Project in Squamish, BC. This role involves routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of heavy equipment on a large-scale LNG project site.

You must have Journeyman certification and at least 3 years of experience. You will work days or nights on a 14/7 rotation. Accommodation is provided (Floatel) and you must pass a drug/alcohol test upon offer.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification required for heavy equipment work.
• Minimum 3 years experience maintaining heavy equipment.
• Experience working around crane, manlift, generator is preferred.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment on site.
• Operate safely around cranes, manlifts and generators.
• Adhere to site safety and CSTS-2020/WHMIS requirements.

Requirements

• Heavy Equipment Mechanic Journeyman certification
• Minimum 3 years experience in heavy equipment maintenance

• Driver's license, and clean Driver's Abstract
• CSTS-2020 and WHMIS required
• Certified for Fall Protection and Manlift Operator an asset but not required

Shift Information

• 14/7 rotation
• Must be available to work days or nights
