Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Alberta is seeking an experienced heavy equipment technician to troubleshoot and repair trucks, diagnose faults with testing equipment, and perform routine maintenance to manufacturer specifications.

Requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience, a Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T), and the ability to work on-site. You will order parts, keep detailed maintenance records, and collaborate with a team to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in heavy equipment repair.
• Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T) required.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Order parts and maintain inventory
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks
• Perform other routine maintenance
