Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Truck and Transport Mechanic with 3–5 years' experience to maintain and repair heavy trucks at client sites. The role is strictly on-site with no remote options.

You will troubleshoot faults, diagnose with diagnostic tools, prepare maintenance reports, and work with a team to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications. A Red Seal endorsement is required, and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion required.
• 3–5 years of experience in heavy truck maintenance or related field.
• Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Write maintenance reports.
• Train or assist in the training of other workers.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Read and interpret work orders.
