Summit Air is hiring for a full-time, permanent Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Production Supervisor and be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial aircraft ground support equipment within our facility and hangar.
This position involves interpreting work orders and technical manuals, keeping equipment cleaned, lubricated, and maintained, diagnosing faults or malfunctions, and making necessary repairs promptly. Additionally, the Heavy Equipment Mechanic will supervise the work of the Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apprentice.
You will collaborate closely with various departments to develop effective maintenance plans while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational requirements.
